Blue Martini will host its grand opening at 4pm on Friday, Feb. 10, at The Shops at The Bravern. The event includes live music by Remix and Ashley Red.

The lounge features more than 40 specialty martinis as well as casual dining. Food and drink specials will be offered throughout the grand opening weekend.

Blue Martini is open from 4pm to 2am Monday through Friday, and noon to 2am Saturday and Sunday. Happy hour runs from 4pm to 7pm daily, and each night offers live music.

On Wednesdays, patrons can participate in a raffle drawing for a chance to win a designer handbag or an iPad.

Lot No. 3 – Big Game on the Big Screen
Lot No. 3 We will be featuring a special Super Bowl menu with many of their existing favorites, as well as a few new items including Chili-Cheese Nachos, Spicy Chicken Wings, Spice-Rubbed Spare Ribs, and 2 kinds of Potato Skins! Drink specials will include $2.50 Rainier Tall Boys and $1-off draft beer and well drinks. The Super Bowl Menu will be offered from 2 PM until close and can be viewed here.

520 Bar and Grill to Host Madonna Look-Alike Contest
520 Bar & Grill will celebrate in style during this Super Bowl. They have game day specials, including the largest nachos on the Eastside, Wings to-die-for, $5 Touchdowns, $4 Stella Big Gulps, and the new Bud Lite Platinum, which is a new 6% alcohol beer that is being introduced to the world during the game.

At halftime 520 will host a Madonna look-alike contest, where the 1st place winner will receive a $520 cash prize.

Super Bowling Party at Lucky Strike

The recent expansion at 520 Bar & Grill has opened up the venue for events, such as live music. Performing on Tuesday, January 31st is the duo ‘Lucy & Luke;’ they will play from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM.

The 2 cousins, Lucy & Luke play both original songs, as well as covers.  To preview their music, go to their YouTube channel.

Tickets for Wintergrass 2012 are available online. Individual ticket prices for adults range between $20 for a day pass and $130 for a weekend pass.

Wintergrass is mostly bluegrass music. The 1960s-themed party will feature DJ Greg Vandy, live music by Seattle’s the Nightcaps, and improv theatre by Plaid Men, as well as a cash bar and Vegas-style gambling with paper money.

The event kicks off at 8pm and runs until 11pm on Friday, Jan. 20. Vintage attire is recommended, and prizes will be awarded for the best outfits.

The party is open to ages 21 and up. Tickets cost $5 for BAM members and $10 for non-members.

Last autumn Bake’s Place announced its plan to move from Issaquah to downtown Bellevue. Now the jazz supper club is preparing to open in March, at the corner of 108^th Avenue NE and NE 2^nd Street.

The downtown venue will include a main stage, plenty of floor and mezzanine seating, a full-service bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a large patio for outdoor dining and special events.

Bake’s Place will host dinner shows 6 nights each week featuring a variety of musical genres, such as R&B, Latin, Big Band, singer-songwriter, jazz, and blues.

The owners recently announced that Christopher Peterson will join the team as the executive chef and as a business partner. Peterson’s resume includes Café Campagne and Bis on Main, as well as director of culinary operations for Milagro Cantina.

Make memories with family and friends this holiday season at the festive outdoor ice skating rink in Bellevue Downtown Park.

Bellevue’s Magic Season Ice Arena is open from 11am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 24 and 25. The arena will be open 11am to 11pm daily from Dec. 26 through Jan. 2.

Skaters enjoy all-weather skating, on-site concessions, and a warming hut, as well as free 3-hour parking. Admission to the arena costs $10 per day, including $3 skate rental, or $7 with personal skates.

The holidays do not stop a star studded comedy line-up from coming to Parlor Live in December.  Kivi Rogers will be headlining December 22 – 24 and has turned into a regular at The Parlor, but rightfully so.  He is hilarious, and if you haven’t gotten a chance to see him live, this is yet another chance.
