Joey Bellevue recently renovated the interior of its restaurant and lounge with all sustainable materials, including already-fallen wood, to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The décor combines modern elements with vintage accents. Changes include the tile entry and wood flooring, free-standing columns wrapped in fir planking, and a communal table carved from a slab of North American Hickory; a wall treatment of old salvaged brick has been whitewashed with an antique finish.
Walnut booth surrounds and Canadian Maple tabletops enhance the warm atmosphere, while black leather wraps around both chair and booth seating, adding a modern balance. Targeted spot-lighting illuminates each table.
There is now a 2nd bar with a plasma television located in the back of the restaurant. Anybody that has visited Joey Bellevue knows that the lounge is a popular place 7 days a week. Creating an extension of the lounge in the restaurant portion of the space will allow for more people to join Joey Bellevue for a more casual setting.
