Mars Hill Church Plans to Lease Old Underhills Space in Downtown Bellevue
The John Danz building, which used to be home to the John Danz Theatre, Good Guys, and most recently Underhill’s Furniture, may now have a new tenant. Mars Hill Church that has locations in Ballard, Downtown Seattle, Federal Way, Lake City, Olympia, and Shoreline looks to add another in Downtown Bellevue.
According to an article in the Bellevue Reporter, the Church is within $100,000 of raising the money it needs to secure the lease of the John Danz building. According to the Church’s Website, they hope to have their 1st service at the new location in February of 2011.
Over the past month Mars Hill has had 2 opportunities for members of the Church and community to take tours of the new facility, which would allow for 1,300 people to attend services.
